Deconstructing Nature by [Sakuraburst]
I know that this isn't really a music-driven place. The foundations of the Metaversalist are fiction, technology, and the future. I find, though, that music has become a pivotal piece of daily life in our modern media-rich society. Consequently I don't think it's out of line to remark on what I listen to when I'm reflecting on the future, in the hopes that you might like to sample these sounds for yourself with your own reflections.
With that in mind I would encourage you to investigate Deconstructing Nature by [Sakuraburst]. I found it while reading through r/Cyberpunk_music, a subreddit for people who are interested in the same. It scratched an itch that I was specifically looking to resolve: that of an IDM-like sound with influence from traditional Japanese instrumentation. The single, also named Deconstructing Nature, features a flute that felt exactly like what I was looking for. With that in mind I pre-ordered the album and I can say that it didn't disappoint.
The pacing is good, and the more rhythmic stretches convey a sense of energy that really helps with task-oriented work. The instrumentation carries a sense of reflection with it as well, which makes this really good weekday getting-shit-done music. I recommend you at least listen to the single for free here, and if you like what you hear give the whole album a chance. I really enjoy it.
